Description
Supa Drill Foam
DRILLING FOAM
Supa Drill Foam is a concentrated liquid formulated for use in all air drilling operations using either tri-core or hammer bits, encountered in the mineral exploration, oil, gas and groundwater industries, including mist drilling, foam drilling, slug drilling and stable (thick) foam drilling.
Supa Drill Foam produces a dense stable foam at ambient or elevated temperatures, regardless of water quality. It may be mixed with water in the injection tank prior to injection into the air stream, or fed directly into the water as it is injected into the drill hole. Supa Drill Foam is biodegradable and phosphate-free.
Use
Dilution rates very according to application, but typically would be 0.05% by volume Supa Drill Foam in water for dust suppression, 0.2% for mist drilling, 0.5% for foam drilling and 1.5% for slug drilling.
Injection rate of the diluted product will vary with conditions (eg penetration rate, hole diameter and depth, ground type, water influx, etc) but typically would range from 10-90 litres per minute (2-20 gallons per minute).
Safety
Supa Drill Foam is not classified as hazardous. Read Material Safety Data Sheet before use. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Spillages may be slippery.
